2nd game of this series, Braves won yesterday 8-3. Dinelson Lamet will make his 4th start of the season for Colorado. Lamet has struggled to say the least. Lamet has only made it through 11 innings in his first 3 starts, an ERA over 10 on the season, and allowing a .486 BABIP in his 3 starts. This is not a good matchup against a Braves offense that is on fire, SLG% over .500 in the last 10 games.
LAA Angels ML -145
This is a value play. The Royals are coming off a rest day in which they didn't have to travel. But Kansas City has lost 9 games in a row. Today they'll be facing an Angels team that is 8-2 in their last 10 and coming off taking 3 of 4 on the road against the Rangers. Patrick Sandoval will be the key for the Angels. Sandoval has a 7.58 ERA over the last 30 days. But he'll be facing a mediocre Royals lineup. As long as Sandoval does not give up a big number, the Angels should take care of business.
ARI Diamondbacks ML -145
Zac Gallen will take the mound for the Diamondbacks today. Gallen has been one of the best pitchers in the MLB in terms of WAR. Gallen has regressed a little bit over the last 30 days following his hot start to the year, but he will have the opportunity to dominate against today against this Cleveland lineup. On the offensive side, the Diamondbacks offense has been on a tear recently with a .350 OBP and .477 SLG% over the last 10 games.
