LA Lakers ML (-150) @ HOU Rockets

The Los Angeles Lakers are the clear favorites to take down the Houston Rockets in Wednesday night's matchup - and help you win some bets. Despite the absence of stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers have won four of their last five games and set a franchise-record by sinking 15 3-pointers in the first half of their last game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Meanwhile, the Rockets have an underwhelming 82-80 record against teams .500 and are on track to finish with the worst record in the NBA for a third consecutive season.

The Lakers have plenty of reasons to be confident ahead of Wednesday's matchup. Since the All-Star break, the Lakers have acquired a number of players who have made a tremendous impact on the team. The Lakers are 9-4 since the trade deadline, and they look to have a clear advantage in this matchup. Among their recent acquisitions is Russell Westbrook, who has been a key contributor for the Lakers since joining the team. Additionally, rookie forward Jabari Smith Jr. has been making an impact since joining the Rockets. Smith Jr. became the first Houston rookie since Hakeem Olajuwon to record three consecutive 20-point, 10-rebound double-doubles when he had 24 points and 11 rebounds in a 111-109 home victory over the Boston Celtics.

With the Rockets' lack of success against teams with a .500 record and the Lakers' recent success, the Lakers look to be the clear favorites to win Wednesday night's matchup - and help you win some bets. With their recent acquisitions, the strength of their overall roster, and the experience of their veterans, the Lakers appear to have the advantage in this matchup and should come out on top.

SAC Kings ML (-110) @ CHI Bulls

The Sacramento Kings (40-27) are taking on the Chicago Bulls (31-36) Wednesday night, and the Kings are the clear favorites to come out on top.

The Kings have been strong on the road this season, with a 19-13 record. Plus, they're riding a wave of momentum, having won 8 of their last 10 games. On the other side, the Bulls have won two in a row, but have yet to put together any major winning streak. Plus, the Kings have been competitive against other teams, while the Bulls have been more hit or miss.

In terms of injuries, there are no major ones on the day-to-day front. The Kings are currently a 1-point favorite with a total of 237.5. The Kings are -110 on the moneyline while the Bulls are -105.

So here's the question: is it worth it to put your money on the Kings? I'd say yes. Sacramento has the edge in this matchup, and should come out on top Wednesday night. With their solid defense, strong offense, and overall momentum, Sacramento is well-positioned to win this game.
